Sales Consultant

For the following area(s): Pennsylvania, Northeastern states and Southeastern states.

Key Responsibilities

Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows.
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms.
Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met.
Emphasize product features based on analysis of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
Inform customers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts, or other information pertaining to service.
Contact existing and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders.
Consult with clients after sales or contract signing in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
Provide existing and prospective customers with product samples.
Significant amount of travel. Will be expected to spend significant amount of time in the areas mentioned above soliciting sales.

Ability to Travel
Excellent Persuasion and Negotiation skills
Excellent Service Orientation skills
Record of achieving results
Strong communication skills: verbal and written
Computer skills: ability to utilize Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications
High School Diploma; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Any relevant and equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered
